Job Title: Medical Device Sales Analyst

Our client’s goal is to improve the quality of human life through the provision of organs, tissues, and cells for transplantation; to provide innovation in the fields of bio-implants, regenerative medicine, and research; and, to serve the community with educational and support services that enhance the donation process. 

The Medical device Sales Analyst is responsible for generating business analytics for the sales force including working with Corporate and Strategic Accounts, Sales Leadership, and the Sales team. This includes sales reporting for key accounts, building and tracking various product and customer-based reports, providing cross references and pricing comparisons for RFP’s, and assisting in the ongoing data upkeep, troubleshooting and enhancements of SugarCRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Report Generation: Develops reports to ensure continued revenue growth by managing a database of key sales data for quick and accurate data-driven decision making. Designs reports and quantitative analyses that reflect performance, trends, and threats. Ensures accurate reporting metrics based on ongoing needs to support business decisions.

  • GPO/IDN Compliance Tracking : Creates and manages ongoing GPO/IDN load sheet analytics to ensure appropriate contract tier assignments. Makes recommendations on new tier assignments where applicable and provides supporting information for field sales team to properly communicate accurate customer volumes for pricing discussions.

  • Sugar CRM: Assists in data upkeep, report troubleshooting, and enhancement suggestions while working collaboratively with the field and IS teams.

  • RFP Management: Completes RFP cross references for all new GPO/IDN contracting opportunities. Maintains the current cross reference database and continually updates the system to existing competitive product matches and provides options for interchangeable products. Ensures all required and supplemental documents are complete, on time and accurate. Acts as a PRB liaison providing history and analytics for use in concession and ongoing contract compliance on PRB pricing decisions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Computer or related required.

  • Two (2) years database management and business-related analytical experience required. Database management experience within medical device, Tissue Banks, or Organ Procurement Organizations preferred.

  • One (1) year sales operations experience (monitoring, measuring, and improving sales force efficiency and effectiveness, customer service initiatives, strategic gap analysis, hospital contract negotiation) required.

  • One (1) year with any ERP System (SAP, BI, or other related ERP system) required.

  • Two (2) years’ experience with CRM systems preferred.

  • Two (2) years’ experience leading and managing short and long-term projects to include analysis, implementation and training end users preferred.

  • Two (2) years analyst management experience preferred.  

  • Microsoft Office: Advanced skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask and work independently.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and present effectively across various audiences (verbal and writing skills).
